Historic apology to First Nations people

Today, I delivered one of the most important speeches of my life.

We respectfully acknowledge the people of the Kulin nations as the Traditional Owners of this land, pay tribute to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and give respect to Elders past and present.
